Affectionately known as the “Wee Bees,”
the Banshee Reeks Weed Battalion is a dedicated team of nine volunteers who spent over 1,500 hours addressing the threat posed by non-native invasive plants to the biodiversity of Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve. (The Loudoun County News Release is online HERE)
