Bird List
Among the documented biota at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve, we are most fortunate to have a printed list of birds that was prepared by John Drummond and Alex Merritt in cooperation with Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services during the year 2002 and updated in late 2006. We have composed a derivative list for our Web Site which, in its present form, is in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format.
In case you do not have the *free* Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your system, you may visit Adobe Systems on line.

Please also note that this .pdf file is large (about 583 KB). Once you have downloaded the file, it should remain in your Temporary Internet Files for some time, so you *may* be able to recall the list and navigate within it until the temporary file is deleted.
Safer yet, 'minimize' the new browser window that opens with the .pdf file, thereby keeping it available on your taskbar while navigating around the other pages on the Banshee Reeks main site. Then you may 'maximize' or 'restore' the taskbar window to return to the .pdf file.
You might also consider saving the file in a more permanent folder from which you could open it quickly at any future time.
