- Increase awareness of the value of environmental protection generally and of Banshee Reeks' wildlife habitat specifically.
- Provide volunteer services to the nature preserve. Volunteers are needed to assist staff on the third Saturday of each month.
- Raise funds, property and materials to improve programs and facilities at the nature preserve.
- Provide citizen input for future plans for Banshee Reeks.
