Trail Map Information
Trail Maps showing the network and indicating which trails are open and closed are available in the Visitor Center, and you may download a copy in advance. If you download a copy, it's a good idea to check with the Visitor Center for the status of open and closed trails before venturing out.
To download a .JPG version [252 KB File Size] of the trail map use the following link. You should be able to print the map on one 8-1/2" x 11" page. (You should be able to use your browser's 'File/Print Preview' routine to check before printing). After viewing, use your browser's BACK button to return here.
We have just added a new document called "Guide to the Greenway and Tree Trails" that was done by Frank Good, one of our Virginia Master Naturalists. It offers 12 pages of illustrated information on the plants, including trees, that you should find along the section of trails he has mapped.
